This Privacy Policy explains how PawMimo collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our app and related services. PawMimo helps users manage pet profiles, photos, health records, reminders, quality-of-life surveys, breed guidance, and account settings.

Depending on how you use PawMimo, we may collect:
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, display name, sign-in provider, and account status.
- Pet profile information: pet name, species, breed, gender, date of birth, weight, photo, microchip or insurance notes, and veterinary contact information you choose to enter.
- Pet health records: vaccination records, drug allergies, food allergies, regular food, illness records, quality-of-life survey answers, notes, dates, and related reminders.
- Photos and files: pet photos or exported files that you choose to upload, create, or share.
- Purchase information: app-store purchase status, product identifiers, transaction references, and entitlement data needed to provide paid features.
- Technical information: device type, app version, language setting, diagnostic logs, crash information, network request metadata, and security-related events.
- Support communications: messages, email address, and other information you provide when contacting us.
3. Sensitive Information
PawMimo may store information related to your pet's health. Pet health information may still be sensitive to you because it can include personal routines, contact details, photos, or veterinary information. Please only enter information you are comfortable storing in the app.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and manage your account;
- provide pet profiles, health records, reminders, exports, and breed guidance;
- sync data across devices where supported;
- process purchases and manage paid entitlements;
- provide customer support and troubleshoot issues;
- improve app reliability, safety, and user experience;
- prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and policy violations;
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and app-store obligations.
5. Legal Bases Where Applicable
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we process personal data based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and protection of rights or safety.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- cloud hosting, database, storage, authentication, and infrastructure providers;
- Apple App Store, Google Play, and payment-related services for purchases and refunds;
- analytics, diagnostics, and crash-reporting providers, if enabled;

- authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights, or to prevent abuse;

Your information may be stored on your device and on cloud services located in your country or other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the services we operate.
8. Retention & Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide PawMimo, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, cloud data is deleted or anonymized according to the app's deletion flow, legal requirements, and technical backup limitations. Some local-only data may be deleted immediately from your device.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, withdraw consent, or receive a copy of your personal data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
You can update some information in the app. To make a privacy request, contact us through the in-app support channel.
10. Photos, Camera, and Device Permissions
PawMimo asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add or update a pet photo. You can manage permissions in your device settings. If you deny permission, some photo features may not work.
11. Children and Age Requirement
PawMimo is not intended for children. You must be at least 20 years old, or the age required by applicable law, to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no app, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
13. App Store and Third-Party Policies
Your use of PawMimo may also be subject to Apple App Store, Google Play, Firebase, cloud hosting, payment, and other third-party policies. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app or another appropriate channel. The updated policy will apply from its effective date.
